When to visit?
Mkomazi National Park is open to visitors all year round, but the best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from June to October. During this time, the park is drier, and wildlife is more concentrated around water sources, making it easier to spot. The dry season is also the best time for hiking, as the trails are less muddy and more accessible.
The wet season, which runs from November to May, is also a good time to visit as the park is greener, and there are fewer tourists. During the wet season, the park is more challenging to access, and some of the roads may be impassable due to flooding.
