Kitulo National Park, also known as the “Garden of God,” is a protected area located in southern Tanzania. Established in 2005, Kitulo National Park is Tanzania’s first national park that is primarily focused on conserving flowers and other plant species. It is one of the most unique national parks in Africa, with a variety of rare and endemic flora species that can be found nowhere else in the world.

The park is situated on the Kitulo Plateau, which lies at an altitude of 2600 meters above sea level. It covers an area of about 414 square kilometers and is bordered by the Livingstone Mountains to the east and the Kipengere Range to the west. The park is home to more than 350 species of plants, including over 45 species of orchids, 30 species of lilies, and 6 species of primroses. It is also home to a variety of bird species and small mammals such as the hyrax, bushbuck, and reedbuck
