Saadani National Park

Saadani National Park is a unique protected area situated in the eastern part of Tanzania, just a few kilometers from the Indian Ocean. It covers a total area of approximately 1,100 square kilometers and encompasses a variety of ecosystems, ranging from savannah grasslands and acacia woodlands to mangrove swamps and coastal forests. When to visit?

The wet season, which runs from November to May, can be challenging for visitors, as the park’s roads can become muddy and impassable, and the vegetation is thicker, making it harder to spot wildlife.
