Overview
If you want to see the largest herd movement of animals on the planet and also visit the best national parks in northern Tanzania, this is the perfect itinerary for you. The focus during this trip will be on the western part of the Serengeti, where the Great Migration across the Grumeti River from May to July. The herds of wildebeest en zebra must outsmart the huge Nile crocodiles and fast-flowing water before facing predators waiting on the other side.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our professional driver guide and transferred to Arusha town, for accommodation at Green Mountain Hotel on full board basis.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Today start your safari. After an early morning breakfast, your professional driver guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch for a game drive. This unique park has the largest concentrations of elephants in the world and the highest number of breeding bird species. As you drive deep in the park you will be welcomed by huge herds of these elephant’s at large groups and oldest Baobab trees which have been there for hundreds of years. Tarangire National park is packed with almost all wildlife species, including big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, also the seldom seen Kudu, Oryx, and Gerenuk.
The Tarangire River draws huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, as well as predators that prey upon them and make the ecology system better. In the afternoon you will enjoy your lunch at Matete Picnic site. After lunch proceed with game drive till late noon. Later in the evening drive out of the Tarangire and head to small town of mto wa mbu for accommodation at Olea Africana lodge. Dinner and overnight on Full board basis.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After early morning breakfast, you go on a walking tour in a small town of Mto wa Mbu from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This three hours walking tour will expose you to the lives of over 120 different tribes from across Africa who are living there and forming a colorful mix of customs. Your walking guide will take you to rice and banana plantations, a local beer factory, Maasai Boma, and a carving factory to discover the traditional way of life of the villagers.
After three hours walking tour you will break for 30minutes, getting packed with lunch box and proceed to Lake Manyara National park, for a 6 to 7 hours game drive. Lake manyara National park is just five minutes drive from Mto wa Mbu Town. Lake Manyara is known for its huge soda lake filled with pink-hued flamingos, to conclude its bird paradise nature, a large population of baboons, incredible birdlife and breathtaking views. Also you will see other large species like giraffes, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos, and if you are lucky you can spot a tree-climbing lion which is unique and only found in Lake Manyara National park. In the late afternoon, you enjoy your lunch at picnic site while also enjoying the amazing views of alkaline / soddash Lake Manyara. After lunch continue with game drive to explore the wild nature.
Later in the evening, your driver guide will drive you to a small town of Karatu for evening hot shower, dinner and overnight at Farm of Dream luxury Lodge in the views of Ngorongoro.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park (west)
You wake up very early in the morning breakfast. This morning you will be driving to the famous Serengeti National Park (The African most attractive and theLeading destination) through Ngorongoro with game on route. It’s a long day drive before getting to Serengeti. On the way you will stop at a Maasai village to get an insight in the lifestyle of these graceful warriors. In the afternoon you will have your lunch at the Picnic site before proceeding with game on route to west side of Serengeti.
There is a big chance that you can see the Great Migration of wildebeest crossing the Grumeti River in this area of the Serengeti between May and July. The herds must outsmart the crocodiles and fast-flowing water before facing predators waiting on the other side. This is an amazing spectacle. Later in the evening you drive to the Mbalageti Luxury lodge for accommodation on Full board basis.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park (west)
Wake up early morning, take your breakfast and depart your lodge with picnic lunch, for a full day game drive, moving with the herds across the plains exploring the World Great Animal Migration at the Banks of River Grumeti. This is an impressive life moment experience to see all those hoofed mammals, followed by predators, migrate in a clockwise circle every year. If you want to spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo) all in one park then, Serengeti must be your number one choice.
In the afternoon you will have break to enjoy your picnic lunch or you may opt to go back to the lodge to have hot lunch, depending on your morning arrangement and advice from your professional guide. After lunch continue with game drive and photo taking around River Grumeti Later in the evening drive back to Mbalageti luxury Lodge for Hot shower, dinner and overnight on full board basis. This day you will sleep with full memory of what it means by World Great Animal Migration at Serengeti.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park (central)
After early morning breakfast, you pack your stuffs and depart the lodge with picnic lunch for a game drive while heading to the Central part of Serengeti. Central Serengeti is famous for the abundance of lions and leopards that can usually be seen quite easily. Game viewing in central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, pangolin, and many more.
Later in the afternoon, you enjoy your lunch at the picnic site. After a short break for lunch proceed with game drive at Central parts of Serengeti. This day will leave you with amazing virtual thinking due to the beauty of nature. Later in the evening you drive to Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Camp for hot shower and accommodation on full board basis. This camp is the perfect blend of old African charm and elegance in the heart of Serengeti National Park.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Wake up early in the morning for Breakfast, pack your stuffs and also will be packed with lunch box from the lodge. Get ready for safari and wave your hands to Serengeti (the African most attractive Destination). Today you are set off towards the Ngorongoro crater for your last day game drive. This world Caldera crater is the home of almost 30000 animals including the Big Five. The crater is concentrated with zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs, and also the rare endangered black rhino.
The beautiful colors and dancing clouds make the crater almost surreal. Because of its natural beauty, the Ngorongoro Crater is voted as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. In the afternoon, you enjoy your lunch down the crater at the Hippo pond picnic site. After lunch continue with crater game drive to explore the infinity wild nature of the crater. Later in the evening you ascend from the crater and drive to Karatu town for accommodation at Marera / Bouganivilea / Country Lodge on Full board basis.
Day 8: Departure
After early morning breakfast, you professional driver guide will drive you to Arusha, arriving in time for hot lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International airport for your departure flight.

NOTE;– This tour requires long time pre Booking due to accommodation limits at the west side of Serengeti during World Great Animal Migration. During this time the visitors pupolutation is too huge to over helm the available accommodation facilities.
